Wim Wenders 1984 masterpiece starring Harry Dean Stanton about a mans reunion with his family after four years of having been lost, wandering around the desert alone. The film follows the protagonist in his initial refusing to speak, and through the painfull process of reacquainting himself with his seven year old son and his wife, only to leave again.

Notable for its atmospheric shots of the desert by longtime Wenders cinematographer Robby Müller, as well as Ry Cooders soundtrack, the movie won the Golden Palms at 1984's Cannes Film Festival.

Another day, another viral campaign. This time, the mystery fun is brought to us by Nokia. Visiting the page will playback a video outlining the woes of three people who have lost their phones, highlighting the idea that their phone "knows everything" about them. It then switch to the countdown shown above. They've even given all three of the video's stars - Anna, Jade, and Luca - Facebook accounts, complete with fake friends and Wall posts.

Anyone want to take a stab at what they'll announce? The obvious bet would be the phone shown in the countdown - but that seems a bit anticlimactic, and makes the whole omniscient phone aspect kind of pointless. My guess? Some sort of remote wipe/data management set-up aimed at the general consumer. Lose your phone? Take all the naughty stuff off via our handy web app!

Here a bit of news from my former employer who is pursuing the 7th Mass Media space with single-minded purpose. Nokia announced the Nokia Media Network to develop mobile advertising with many big publishers and media brands like AFP, International Herald Tribune, RTL etc. Yet another example of the convergence and players who are aiming for the opportunity at the heart of it. What started with vino tino and tostada de huevos de codorniz in Barcelona turned into a full-fledged love affair with the city of Barcelona.

Vienna surprised us even more with an artist's haven of a place, offspace, that we would have never expected to find in Austria's capital.

After few stressful weeks hovered over the computer, we sojourned to peaceful Copenhagen and recharged at one of the city's foliage-filled gardens.
