
Wim Wenders 1984 masterpiece starring Harry Dean Stanton about a mans reunion with his family after four years of having been lost, wandering around the desert alone. The film follows the protagonist in his initial refusing to speak, and through the painfull process of reacquainting himself with his seven year old son and his wife, only to leave again.
Notable for its atmospheric shots of the desert by longtime Wenders cinematographer Robby Müller, as well as Ry Cooders soundtrack, the movie won the Golden Palms at 1984's Cannes Film Festival.
