The Touareg Trail is an annual event in which 25 or so intrepid adventurers drive 8,500km from Brussels, through Europe, across the length of Africa, tackling the Sahara desert and eventually finishing at the coast in Benin. If this wasn't tricky enough they all travel in Citroën 2CVs.
You might think that tin snails would shrivel and die in the harsh environment of the Sahara but judging from this video you could be forgiven for thinking that this is what they were designed to do.
